Winter Punches

Christmas Eve Punch

46 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
32 ounces cranberry juice cocktail
2 cups orange juice
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons almond extract
33 3/4 ounces ginger ale

Mix pineapple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon juice, sugar and
almond extract; chill. Add ginger ale just before serving.

Evergreen Punch

2 packages lime Kool-Aid
1 quart ginger ale
46 ounces pineapple juice
2 cups sugar
2 quarts water

Dissolve sugar in water; cool.

Mix Kool-Aid, pineapple juice, sugar-water and ginger ale.

Santa Claus Punch

1 quart cranberry juice
2 packages raspberry drink powder
2 cups sugar
4 quarts water
12 ounces frozen lemonade
20 ounces 7-Up® -- or ginger ale

Mix Kool-Aid, sugar and water. Add cranberry juice and lemonade (undiluted).
Chill. Pour over ice in punch bowl. Just before serving pour 7-Up in edge
of bowl.

Wassail

3 cups sugar
9 cups water -- divided
5 cinnamon sticks
6 cups cranberry juice
3 cups orange juice
3 Tablespoons lemon juice

Combine sugar, 3 cups water and cinnamon sticks in a large stockpot; boil for
10 minutes.

Add cranberry juice, remaining water, orange juice and lemon juice and heat
through. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.
