How are your plans coming along?
On Black Friday, I plan to do all of my kids' Christmas shopping (except maybe stocking stuffers).
The following weekend (first weekend of December) I will complete all of my other Christmas gift shopping (my parents, aunt & cousin; dh's parents & grandmother and stocking stuffers). After that, I will be done!!!
My Thanksgiving plans are coming along nicely. Hopefully all will go well. Please post a comment and let me know what you've got going on by way of preparations for Thanksgiving & Christmas (and how things are going). If you need help, post a question. Maybe someone can help you.~Cherylann

I have pretty much everything ready for thanksgiving. Just need to get my produce early in the week and I'll be set. I am going to take the turkeys out of the freezer tonight and start thawing them in the garage icebox. thank GOD for two iceboxes.
We are going to do 2 turkeys this year...one 20lb. and one 13lb. we will not cook the 2nd one until later that day. The 2nd one will be used to have on hand or the freezer for sandwiches and casseroles.
I am going to really scour the sale ads before I decide to go out on black Friday. We are looking at getting an Xbox 360 Elite (for you know who *grin*) so if I can find one on sale at a deep discount I will be one of those crazy fools that park outside the store the afternoon before to get the bargain. I have done it in the past and I am afraid to admit...I will probably do it again in the future. *LOL* We aren't going to get really much else as this will be a pretty penny, so that's why I am definitely looking for a deal.
Yes, I know what you mean about the deals. We had to get 2 turkeys, b/c they only had small ones. We got 2 12# ones.
Ours have been in the fridge thawing since this am. I am going to brine my turkey Wednesday.~Cherylann
