Update on NY Lunch...

For some reason, I still have fresh herbs growing outside in my patio container. So, I am going to be using Fresh Rosemary & Fresh Thyme, rather than dried. I will let you know how it tastes. I love fresh rosemary!!!! I'm glad it's still growing:)

Is it difficult to grow herbs?

NO!!!!!!!!! It's really easy, I bought a great big flower pot (plastic) and bought 6 herbs that had already started growing (they sell them in little bitty pots at wal-mart with the tomatoes/peppers/etc).

I put miracle gro potting soil in the pot, dug little holes and put the herbs in. I bought 2 rosemary (did I mention I love rosemary?), thyme, basil, oregano and maybe marjoram?? I can't remember the last one. But I am sure on the others.

All I did was water the pot (by the base of the plants...not the tops of them). And whenever I needed fresh herbs, I just went out & snipped what I needed.

They make amazing spaghetti sauce. I tend to use my herbs for just about any meat, though. They also pep up garlic bread...yum!
