Hot Cocoa




Ok, I didn't exactly get this done step-by-step, like PW, but I did get a couple of after pics.

I made 8 pint jars of homemade Hot Cocoa (I only needed 5 for my family movie gift baskets).

Here is the recipe (I didn't make the whole recipe, obviously):

Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

25 5/8 ounces nonfat dry milk (8 cups)
16 ounces miniature marshmallows (7 1/2 cups)
12 ounces miniature chocolate chips (2 cups)
3 cups powdered sugar
3 cups nondairy creamer, fat-free
1 1/2 cups baking cocoa powder

Mix the dry milk, powdered sugar, creamer and cocoa powder together. Divide between jars. Press firmly. Top with marshmallows and chocolate chips.

Serving -- 3 TABLESPOON. per mug of hot water or milk.

Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 14 Calories; trace Fat (0.2% calories from fat); 0g Protein; 3g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 0mg Cholesterol; trace Sodium. Exchanges: 0 Other Carbohydrates.

NOTES : This delicious mix makes great gifts for teachers, co-workers, church staff, etc. Can also add crushed candy canes or peppermints. Use wide-mouth jars.

That sounds yummy. I am getting so many great creative ideas from you. I am going to get started on my CHRISTmas gift baskets this week. I am going to add the apple pie filling I made last week to use as one of the goodies for the baskets. So I guess you could say I have a start going. LOL
